Reach for Success

The Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence (CMAE) Reach for Success event is the University of Oregon's primary visitation program for traditionally underrepresented 7th and 8th grade students.  This interactive campus visit for aspiring Ducks from across the state is designed to give students a campus experience, while fostering campus relationships. All activities have been designed to engage students in conversations about higher education and to raise their awareness of the wide variety of educational disciplines and careers available to them and how to prepare for the path to higher education. We strongly encourage you to bring students that represent the full spectrum of diversity at your school.

  • Reach for Success is on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Erb Memorial Union (EMU) on the University of Oregon campus.
  • Deadline to register is February 14, 2020.

Enrollment is capped at 25 students per school, until capacity is reached.  You will be notified via email of your completed registration.  Please do not leave any information blank, especially ethnicity.  Incomplete registration forms will not be accepted. This information is vital for continued support of the program. If you register students and then have cancellations or must cancel all together, please send this information via email to inclusionstudent3@uoregon.edu before February 21, 2020.  There are usually students on the waiting list; so please make sure to notify us, if you cannot attend, so that others may attend.

Permission

I, the undersigned, guarantee that the school I represent has received permission from the above students' legal guardians to attend Reach for Success 2020 at the University of Oregon. I grant the University of Oregon's Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence permission to use any pictures taken in public view on March 2, 2020 of my child or ward in which they appear individually or in whole or in part, and to use their name in captions or in texts accompanying or referencing photographs in which they appear.

I understand that these pictures may be reproduced in print and electronic media solely to promote the University of Oregon's Reach for Success program. I waive the right to inspect or approve said pictures, or any captions or accompanying texts that may be used in connection with them, or to approve the use to which said material may be applied.
